In this course, we’ll focus on the twin pillars of audiobook narration: preparing the material and giving a solid performance. We’ll look at how to read a text for acting clues in order to maximize preparedness while minimizing the time needed to achieve it. All class participants will perform a text with coaching from the instructor.
The course will also briefly cover equipment and acoustical space needs, basic processes for recording and mastering audio, and sources of work in narration.
