“I can’t relate” Acting Truth in circumstances that are far from us (Level 3)

Have you ever been auditioning for something that you could not relate to? A period piece that has you reeling with how to bring your work to life, a character who you cannot find anything in common with or understand, a situation so out of the box that you can’t bring it to an authentic portrayal? This class is geared at finding connections where there seem to be none, crafting a character who doesn’t seemingly live within you, and using your script analysis and creativity to step into any demand that casting may put on you. Through a combination of on camera auditioning, scene study, script analysis and practical on set execution of these roles, our instructor will help you elevate your tapes to the next level.
