Voice Over: Unlocking your Voice for Audiobooks, Video Games and Dialects

In this class, we’ll cover the essential skills needed for two of the most popular areas of VO today: audiobooks and video games. We’ll dig into dialects, learning not only how to bring them off convincingly but, most importantly, how to learn new ones, to keep our skills relevant no matter how the market changes. We’ll also look at what it takes to compete in voicing books and games, paying particular attention to the skills needed to deliver professional-grade auditions from home. Participants will leave the course armed with “in the trenches” know-how from a working VO professional to help them succeed, along with significant practice in putting that knowledge to work to deliver quality performances.
