Class prices vary based on the length of session and class hours. A typical 8 week session can range from $199-$295. Don’t miss out on early bird registration to take advantage of the discount for securing your spot early! Register for classes here.

If an actor comes to us with substantial credits and training, we allow them to submit their materials (headshot, resume, reel or recent self tape) to be reviewed by our staff.

If an actor has the foundational skills to skip over a level, we then can make class recommendations that ensure the actor will be challenged by the curriculum accordingly.

The bulk of our programming is for adults ages 18+, however, we do have a teen class each session (ages 13-17) and often have weekend workshops that have opportunities for our young actors (ages 7-12). Browse our available kids & teen classes here.

Each track at 1st Team is valuable to your on camera journey, but they contain different curriculum and skill building. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:

On Camera Track: This track focuses on auditioning skills, building strong camera technique, analyzing a script for the audition, self tapes, agent info, headshot advice and executing everything from the audition to the set with plenty of time reviewing tapes and footage from your class work.

Technique Track: This track is all about the craft, we will introduce different techniques as you build the foundation of truthful and compelling acting. Classes in this track do not work on camera, but instead teaches the development of strong characters, scene partner chemistry, character arcs and implements different techniques throughout challenging scene work.

Improv Track: Improv is a basic fundamental skill that is useful throughout your acting career. Everything from improvised commercial auditions, to leaning on your ability to live in the moment and not anticipate the outcome of a scene, is very helpful for actors at every stage. This track then moves into several different avenues- content creation, sketch writing, advanced improv performing troupes and so on!

Once registered, 1st Team does not offer refunds. The only exception to this is if, for some reason, we have to cancel a class or a workshop. Refunds are only issued when the cancellation occurs on our end.

If an actor has to drop a class prior to the start date, a credit for the amount paid will be issued. Credits can be used towards anything on the 1st team site. Classes dropped after the start of the session are not eligible for credits.

Yes. Both credits and gift cards can be used for one calendar year from the date issued. After that, they are no longer valid.

To fully participate in an online class, you will need a stable internet connection and a computer with a webcam and microphone. All online classes are conducted over Zoom, so actors should have a basic working knowledge of that platform.

Yes! We are able to work with our actors with a set payment plan to spread the cost of a class throughout the session. Actors can choose from 2 or 3 pay options, with just a portion paid upfront at time of enrollment. To set up a payment plan email Taylor@1stTeamActorsStudio.com!

No. All information and instruction given in person or online by an instructor with 1st Team is not permitted to be recorded in any capacity. Violation of this policy will result in dismissal from class without reimbursement.

Yes! One time coachings and tapings in our HD studio can be scheduled as needed by emailing Lauren@1stTeamActorsStudio.com You will be set up with a coach during a convenient time to help with your self tape. Tapings are $35.00 per half hour.
