Acting for VO (6 Week Class)

You may have acted for stage and film and know how to tailor your performance to each, but what do you do when the audience and the camera are gone and you’re left performing only before a microphone? 

In this class, we’ll cover how to bring the same thoughtfulness and richness of expression to projects demanding voice alone. We’ll study a variety of genres of voice over to show you how to be comfortable in front of the mic and how to make the most of the medium to give your best performance. We’ll also touch on the variety of VO work available on the market today and give some tips on how to pursue it. This class will work through facets of the VO industry that includes everything from audiobooks, commercial, animation, video games and more.
