Auditioning (Level 2)

This class has a prerequisite of “The Actors Arsenal.” (Level 1)

Auditions are one of the most daunting obstacles for many actors. Being great in the room isn’t just dumb luck and crafting a standout audition in the mix of dozens of self tapes is crucial. There are techniques and skills that can be taught, and when they are executed correctly, the casting director recognizes the mark of a seasoned professional. After reviewing their audition tapes in class, the instructor will break down the script to highlight each audition technique that should have been utilized. The class will then watch back the auditions to receive input on their audition prep and performance. We will cover self tapes, in room auditions, and the virtual/eco cast live auditions- 3 different kinds with 3 different specifications! Auditions are the way we book, our technique has to be SOLID!
